Solar Crown Tournament See also: Solar Crown In a May, 2022 blogpost update, it was stated it is would be a goal for the developers to meet expectations regarding staples from the Test Drive Unlimited subseries such as buying a car from a dealership, listening to the radio whilst driving, putting the top down when the rain stops, using the turn signals properly, and even simply opening the cars' windows.
Dynamic windows, as well as interactive indicators are confirmed, with the physics engine being based on KT Racing's WRC series.
Players will be free to progress as they wish - racing, cruising online, elevating their character's status - and the classic open championship concept returns with the Solar Crown competition, along with mysterious stakes. It was initially announced for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Nintendo Switch, Microsoft Windows (Steam and Epic Games Store), although development for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One would be halted, with players being notified in May, 2022.
